Ahtopol is approximately 60 kilometers southeast of the center of the regional city of Burgas. It is located about 11 kilometers southeast of the municipal center Tsarevo and about 15 kilometers north-northwest of the most southerly Bulgarian settlement on the Black Sea coast – the village of Rezovo, where the state border with Turkey is crossed.
